Service Agreement Metro North

We are the largest of the 16 hospitals and health services (HHS) that offer public health services in Queensland. Metro North HHS is a legal body managed by our Board of Directors. The service agreement defines the health, education, research and other services that must be provided by HHS and the resources that will be made available to HHS for the delivery of these services. It also defines the results that need to be achieved by the SHH and how its power is measured. This signed service agreement includes funding, activity and performance requirements for the hospital and Metro North 2019-2022 health service. Metro North Hospital and Health Service enables people to provide excellent patient-centered care and quality health care. We focus on working with health partners and investing in the systems, engagement and culture that connect people to provide services to a population approaching 900,000 people, from the north of the Brisbane River to north of Kilcoy. There is a service agreement between the Ministry of Health and all hospital and health services (HHS) for the provision of public health services. The service agreement defines the health, education, research and other services that must be provided by HHS and the resources provided to HHS for the delivery of these services. It also defines the results that need to be achieved by the SHH and how to measure its performance. Current Service Contracts and Metro Health and Hospitality Service (HHS) Changes The current service contract covers the period from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2022. All changes to the service contract during this period are recorded in an amendment. We are the largest of the 16 hospitals and health services (HHS) that offer public health services in Queensland.

Metro North HHS is a legal body managed by our Board of Directors. Here you will find the windows of opportunity agreed until 2018/2019 of Amendment 3 2016/17 – 2018/19 Hospital and Health Services, Services Agreements (April 2019) and a final declaration of funding and activity acquired at the end of the service contract. The amendments will be made public within 14 days of signing, both by the Director General of the Ministry of Health and by the Chairman of the Hospitals and Health Committee. This signed service agreement contains funding, activity and performance requirements for the Metro North Hospital and Health Service 2019-2022. Service contracts are managed in accordance with these supporting documents.
